The Hudson City School District is excited to announce the launch of its new Mobile App! The App is integrated with the Hudson City School District website and puts District and building news, announcements, events (ical enabled) and more at your fingertips. The app is a free download from either the Apple or Google Play store. Search for Hudson Schools Ohio. You'll know us by the ship and stars!
Once downloaded, you will be guided through a brief "on-boarding" process. The first step is to sign-in. There is a simple tutorial on the app. It describes the newsfeed which is on the home screen, as well as the three bar icon which takes you to the sidebar. The newsfeed includes headlines, announcements, and events from the buildings you choose to follow. Please select the schools of your choice and the District. Emergency notifications banners will generate from the District newsfeed, if you allow notifications on your phone.
The three bar icon takes you to the sidebar. Key areas of interest are located in the sidebar such as Home Access Center, My Payments Plus, menus, athletic events, the staff directory, access to the full website, and more!
With the initial 2.4 mobile app release, phone numbers, emails and events are hotlinked. Currently, the hotlinks within the headline news or announcements are not working. This will be corrected in the next update which should occur in the next two weeks.
