I am so excited to be going into my seventh year of teaching at Hudson High School! The first six were phenomenal, and I look forward to all this very unique school year has in store. Things will look different, but I'm determined to make the year as full and as wonderful as I possibly can.
It was when I was attending Roosevelt High School in Kent that I realized my passion for learning and for English, and my goal is to help bring out a passion in my students. I believe all of my students can and will find success in my classroom through creative and challenging lessons, discussions, and collaboration.
I am honored to be teaching New Dimensions and Honors English 9, and I'm confident the year will bring growth for both my students and myself.
On a personal note, I married my high school sweetheart, Jake, in 2012. I am a massive animal lover (we are the proud owners of two Labrador rescues, Ralph and Ben). Additionally, I enjoy running, travel, documentaries/movie marathons, eating (note: NOT cooking), and of course, reading. I am so looking forward to getting to know my students and their families throughout the school year and beyond!
