Mrs. AnnMarie Layton
Hello and welcome to the 2022- 2023 school year!
My name is Mrs. AnnMarie Layton. I am excited about being the Intervention Specialist on the 4th grade teaching team of Mark Mummey and Elizabeth Tremblay. I have a passion for teaching students and guiding them as they grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
East Woods Intermediate School is a great place to be! This is my 8th year teaching at EWIS. I was the supplemental reading teacher for 4th and 5th graders for five years. For the past two years, I have been a 4th grade classroom teacher both virtually and in the classroom. I feel incredibly lucky to be able to do what I love every day and I am grateful that you share your child with us during the school year. My goal, for your child, is to help foster a love of learning that will last a lifetime.
My husband, Dan and I live in Hudson and have three children and a dog named Toby. Both of our boys attended Hudson City Schools for grades K-12 and now attend Ohio State University. Matthew is a senior and Andrew is a sophomore. Our daughter, Jessica is a junior at Hudson High School. I am proud to live and work in the Hudson community.
