About US History 9:
Welcome to 9th Grade United States History. This class picks up where the 8th grade curriculum leaves off. We will begin by studying Reconstruction immediately following the Civil War and will progress up to modern times. Some of the topics covered include: Industrialization, Urbanization, Immigration, Imperialism, Progressivism, World War I, the Jazz Age, the Great Depression, the New Deal, World War II, 1950s America, the Cold War, Vietnam, the Counterculture, Civil Rights, and Modern History. All tests and quizzes will be announced using Google Classroom up to a week in advance.
