Welcome to my webpage. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in 1997 with a major in Secondary Education and minors in Mathematics, Sociology, and Psychology, and my Masters' Degree in 2009 in Education Administration. I also earned my National Board Certification in 2005 and renewed the certification in 2015. I have taught middle school, high school and have worked in math and science curriculum.
I have two children, Mason (13) and Hailey (12). We spend much of our time at baseball, softball and basketball games, swimming and going to Cedar Point.
I am excited to be teaching Algebra II and Geometry again. I strive to treat my students as I would want my own children treated. I want my children’s teachers to have high expectations, yet be friendly, firm, fair and fun. I believe in teaching character education while also teaching math, and emphasizing collaboration, problem solving, teamwork and real life skills.
