In 1994, I graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in Elementary Education.  I began my teaching career with Ravenna City Schools as a 4th-grade teacher and moved to Hudson City Schools in 2000.  I received my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Kent State University.  During my years in Hudson, I have taught both 4th and 5th grade Language Arts and Math. In 2016, I was selected as the Elementary PTO Teacher of the Year.    

I live in Tallmadge with my husband, Mr. Ulrich (Hudson High School biology teacher) our two teenage boys, Isaiah and Nathanael, and Leo our dog. We stay busy with baseball, golfing, camping, and superhero movies.  

Teaching is my passion and I'm so thankful that this is my 27th year working with children and helping them navigate their learning.  My goal each year is a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
