I have an undergraduate degree in early childhood education from Ohio University and a master's degree in Special Education from Kent State University. I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). My BCBA coursework was completed at Florida Institute of Technology. 

I believe in order for students with disabilities to succeed and achieve to their highest potential, special educators need to provide predictable, learning environments. Creating and implementing a more consistent curriculum, methodology and program continuity improves services for students with disabilities.

My interests within the field of education include paraprofessional training, social-emotional development of siblings of children with significant disabilities, peer mediated intervention & educationally based applied behavior analysis.

Outside of the field of education, I enjoy photography, travel, spending time outdoors, Starbucks, my miniature dachshund; Sarah Jessica & being with family and friends.
