     Steve DiMauro and his wife, Gina, were born and raised in Northeast Ohio.  After starting their careers in Columbus and Philadelphia, they moved back to Hudson in 2002 to reunite with family and friends living in the area.  They are the proud parents of a Junior at Hudson High School and avid fans of many other talented students. 
     
    Steve has had the honor to serve on the Hudson School Board for over 15 years – having first been elected to office in November 2007.  He is passionate about our schools, providing the best possible education for all students, and serving the community and the interest of every taxpayer.  While Steve’s Board responsibilities have varied over the years, his primary focus has been on personnel and finance-related matters.  In collaboration with a talented and committed team, he has also helped drive high academic achievement and the successful completion of many initiatives, including the implementation of new salary structure frameworks, negotiation of multiple union contracts, and the execution of our multi-year $80M+ master facilities plan. In addition, Steve has been active in various community and social service causes in Northeast Ohio and is an active member of St. Mary’s Parish.
     
    Professionally, Steve is a Client Account Leader with Accenture, a global consulting and professional services firm, where he works with clients in the Banking and Financial Services sector.  Steve is a graduate of The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business (MBA) and Ohio University (Economics and International Business).
     
    He was first elected to serve on the Hudson BOE in November of 2007. Voters re-elected him to second, third, fourth and fifth terms; the latest election victory being in November of 2021. Mr. DiMauro will continue to serve until his term expires on December 31, 2025.

    James, his wife and three daughters have lived in Hudson for sixteen years. Their oldest two daughters attended Hudson schools and have graduated from college. Their third has attended Hudson since Kindergarten and is currently in college. James served seven years as treasurer of the Hudson Soccer Association, and has coached youth soccer and softball. Mr. Field manages Business Analytics and Consumer Programs for Heinen's Fine Foods. He earned both his B.S. and M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Field is a member of the Hudson Rotary as well as several other community organizations.

    Elected to the Board of Education: November 2011. First term expired December 31, 2016. Second term: Elected to the Board of Education November 2016. Term expired: December 31, 2019. Elected to the Board of Education 2019, term expires December 31, 2023.

    Alisa Wright

    Wright grew up in Akron’s North Hill neighborhood.  She is a graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law (Juris Doctor) and The University of Akron (BA English). She was previously a partner in business litigation practice at the law firm of Roetzel & Andress, LPA and is currently self-employed. 

    Alisa and her husband, an ‘83 Hudson High School graduate, have resided in Hudson for over 23 years. They have two daughters who graduated from HHS and a son who currently attends there.

     Alisa is completing her first term on the HCSD Board of Education. Prior to her election, Alisa was the long-standing treasurer of the Citizens Committee for Hudson Schools, participating in the planning and execution of numerous levy campaigns for the District. A volunteer with Hudson Community First for many years, Alisa now serves on its Executive Board. As a BOE member, Alisa is serving her second term on the Hudson City Schools Endowment Fund Scholarship Committee and is an active member of the Hudson City Schools Foundation.  On the HCSD Parent and Staff Safety Advisory Committee, Alisa has advocated for stop-arm cameras on the District’s school buses as well as mental health and wellness services for students and staff.

    Mrs. Wright was first elected to the Hudson Board of Education in November of 2017. She won re-election in November of 2021, and will serve until her term expires on December 31, 2025.

    Tom Tobin's family moved to Hudson in 1969, and he is a 1979 graduate of Hudson High School.  Tom and his wife are the parents of a Hudson High School graduate  Tom has been involved in several local organizations, including Rotary, Laurel Lake Retirement Community Foundation, Hudson Heritage Association, and Hudson City Schools Foundation.   Mr. Tobin is retired from the American Endowment Foundation, where he formerly served as President.  He holds a BS degree in Business Finance from Miami University. Elected to the Board of Education in November of 2016.

    Term expired on December 31, 2019. Re-elected to the Board of Education in 2019. Term expires on December 31, 2023.

    A champion for Hudson and its students, Laura Jones was unanimously appointed to the Hudson City School Board in August of 2022. Laura is an invaluable member of the community, and oversees a number of school-related events. Most notably, Laura is the Hudson VIP Coordinator, a job which supervises all of the volunteers in the District. She is also a Board Member on the Hudson City Schools Foundation, as well as the Hudson Public Schools Endowment Fund. She is Co-Chair on the Citizens Committee for Hudson Schools and the PTO Pancake Breakfast - a fundraiser that nets over $20,000 a year. She sits on the Board of Safe Routes Hudson and Drug Safe Hudson. Laura also volunteers her time as a member of the HCSD Cultural Proficiency Advisory Committee. Not surprisingly, she was named the 2019 Ohio Middle Level Association Parent of the Year. 

    Laura graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Ohio Wesleyan in 1995 before moving on to earn her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instructions from Cleveland State University in 1999. In addition to her seat on the Board, Laura is a middle school teacher in Cleveland and is the proud mother of two daughters.
