As a physical education teacher in the Hudson City School District since 2013, I am committed to providing all students with enriching and positive learning experiences that contribute to their development as great students, as well as great PEOPLE! I graduated from Austin Peay State University (2006) with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology, and earned my M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction – Physical Education from Kent State University (2012). In addition, I received an Adapted Physical Education endorsement through the state of Ohio from Kent State University (2015).
I see the immense value in providing students the experiences necessary to develop the skills, perspective, and understanding needed to become lifelong physical movers. In order to ensure students develop holistically, students will be required to demonstrate understanding of content through various mediums and within environments that are conducive for quality learning to take place. I am thrilled about the opportunity to be a part of such a wonderful school district that places students at the forefront of the learning process.
