Welcome to C13!

My name is Kelly Grannis and I am thrilled to be your child's first grade teacher this year. I am honored to be teaching in such a fantastic district and to be a part of the Ellsworth Hill community. My goal is to help each child reach his/her fullest potential by teaching to his/her strengths and making learning fun. I look forward to getting to know each of my students and seeing them grow not only academically, but mentally, socially, and emotionally. 

I am eager to get to know you and your first grader and would also like to share a little about myself. This is my eighth year teaching first grade! I have my bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University and my Master's, as well as my reading endorsement, from Ursuline College. When I am not teaching, my husband, Kendall, Grady, and I enjoy taking our energetic pups, Paxton and Lola, on walks, reading our favorite books together, and going out for ice cream every Friday night. I also love playing softball, horseback riding, and traveling.
