Mrs. Stump

Building community, making art and humor are all a part of my philosophy as a teacher. Love and tolerance is my motto.

Welcome to the 2020-21 Art Unity Team! We are going to be super flexible and grateful this year for the time together no matter where it will be (in person or remote).
Each and every one of you are going to make important memories that will last your lifetime to pass on to generations. Let's make this special and have the art lens to look through.

I have a Masters of Art in Teaching from Kent State University and graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design and Art and minor in Spanish. Go DAWGS.

I started teaching when I was eleven at Safety Town in Fairview Park (on the West Side) continuing with community, private and parochial school art classes.  I received my  Masters of Art in Teaching Art at Kent State University in 2001 and started teaching at Hudson City  Schools. Other experiences that have been key to sharing with students are traveling with IREX (IREX works with individuals, institutions, and governments around the world to expand access to education and improve the quality of instruction. http://https://www.irex.org/) Car racing, creating artwork, and ILEP. I am involved with Ohio Art Education Association and  the National Art Education Association for the betterment of all students. I teach art workshops on my own porch and around the country.
