• Great Websites:

    ABC ya!

A great website for interactive games that reinforce letter recognition, letter sound practice, and number identification!  Lots of different grade levels, too!

Starfall is a great website for children to play interactive pre-academic games.

    PBS Kids

PBS Kids has some great interactive games for kids to play.

    Funbrain Jr.

According to familyeducation.com, "Funbrain Jr. is a part of Family Education Network, helps younger kids develop math, early literacy, and problem-solving skills through fun learning games, stories, and printables. The site is designed so parents can sit and explore with their child, or to allow kids to navigate themselves."

According to familyeducation.com, "Kids love Sprout for its fun games, easy crafts, and coloring pages that feature favorite characters from Sesame Street and Barney & Friends. Parents can sign up to learn about special programming, free live events, and new games and activities through Sprout's parent community."

    Boowa and Kwala

According to familyeducation.com, "Boowa and Kwala have more than 500 games — sorting games, musical games, guessing games, decision games, hide and seek, mazes, puzzles, and many more — more than 50 songs, and a variety of stories for special occasions. Uptoten.com also features advice for parents, a toy store, and the Boowa and Kwala club."

    Apps for the Ipad

    Letter School

This is a great app that helps kids learn the appropriate way to write capital and lowercase letters as well as the numbers.  Available in the App store or on GooglePlay.
