• We expect students to be RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, and READY

We will continue to stress the use of the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Kids:

    1. Be Proactive

    2. Begin with the End in Mind

    3. Put First Things First

    4. Think Win-Win

    5. Seek First to Understand, then to be Understood

    6. Synergize

    7. Sharpen the Saw

The Culture of Love and Logic:

    • I will treat you with respect, so you will know how to treat me.

    • Feel free to do anything that does not cause a problem for anyone else.

    • If you cause a problem, I will ask you to solve it.

    • If you cannot solve it, or choose not to, I will do something to help it be resolved.

    • What I do will depend on individual people and individual situations.  We are all different and have different needs.

    • If you feel something is unfair, whisper to me, “I’m not sure that is fair,” or write a note and we will talk.

Snack: Your child will be allowed to bring a healthy snack each day.  Classrooms are nut-free so please click here to see our list of approved "Safe Snacks."

Water Bottles: Water bottles are HIGHLY encouraged, but any other beverages are not permitted.  Due to COVID-19 precautions, our school water fountains will not be functional at this time.  Water stations for water bottle refills will be available to students.

Hand Sanitizer & Hand Washing: Hand sanitizer will be available within the classroom and throughout the school building.  Students ARE permitted to bring their own sanitizer for personal use if they’d please.  Hand washing will also be incorporated into our school day.

Birthday Treats: If your child would like to bring in a treat for his/her birthday, it must be a non-food item (i.e. pencils, erasers, classroom game/activity for recess).  You can read the district's birthday treat guidelines here.

Conferences: Formal conferences will be in October and February and will be scheduled via Sign Up Genius.  Other conferences can be scheduled by request.
