WELCOME TO FOURTH GRADE!
I have been part of the Hudson Schools since 2001! Prior to coming to Hudson, I taught 2nd grade and was a reading specialist for grades 1-2 in Brunswick. After coming to Hudson, I taught 1st grade for nine years, and now I am a 4th grade teacher at East Woods Intermediate School. I am excited about having your child this year! I am a graduate of John Carroll University. I have my Masters Degree from Kent State University in Curriculum and Instruction.
I live in Aurora with my husband Dave and our two boys. Rees is 18 and Zach is 16. Rees will be heading to the University of North Alabama for his freshman year in college, and Zach will be in 11th grade this year!
My goal as a fourth grade teacher is to instill confidence in my students to take risks and be successful learners and citizens. I want my students to feel comfortable in their learning and social interactions with each other. Most of all, I want us all to HAVE FUN!! I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to help guide your child through his/her fourth grade year!
