Advanced Placement Biology is a college-level introduction to the Biological Sciences. It is intended as a survey of the many fields that comprise "biology." At the end of the course, students take the AP Biology exam administered by the College Board. By qualifying on the AP test, students may be permitted to enter advanced courses in college and also earn college credit. The curriculum standards set forth by the College Board are available in the AP Biology Course Description online.
Class resources will be posted here as the year progresses.
