  • ASL students who are a senior in either ASL 3 or 4 that have shown exemplary performance in ASL 1, 2, and/or 3 averaging 3.5 or higher in ASL are eligible to apply to the American Sign Language Honor Society.

Once accepted, join our monthly meetings and activities. We will brainstorm ways to complete the 10 hours of volunteer service related to working with ASL students, the Deaf community, Deaf awareness, and/or American Sign Language public awareness. Completion of the service hours must be submitted by May 1st to be eligible for honor society recognition. Past activities have included tutoring ASL 1 students, teaching 5th graders sign language and participating in a book club at East Woods Intermediate School, World Culture Day ASL table, and other community service projects outside of the HHS school day. Interested? Please see Ms. Stull for details.
