Handwashing Protocol

  • Hand washing will be required throughout the day and hand sanitizer will be at every entry, commons area, and every classroom.

    CDC Guidelines for Hand Hygiene

According to the CDC, hand washing is a key element in keeping ourselves and loved ones safe and healthy. Washing our hands during the following times when we are most likely to get and spread germs can help keep you healthy and safe. Hands should be washed:

    • Before and after eating.
    • After restroom use.
    • Any time hands are soiled.
    • After blowing your nose, coughing, sneezing or touching your face covering.
    • Do not rely solely on hand sanitizer, use soap and water in between hand sanitizer use.
    • Upon entry and exit of buildings with a 60% alcohol-based sanitizer, rubbing hands together for at least 20 seconds or until dry.
