• K-5th Grade Daily Hygiene Schedule

    Please have students use hand sanitizer after every academic block.

    Arrival

    Enter building, use hand sanitizer. 

    After Every Academic Block

    Students use hand sanitizer.

    Snack

    If a snack is going to occur in the classroom/outside, students need to wash their hands before and after. Students must be 6ft apart while having their snack.  

    Before Lunch Recess

    Students use hand sanitizer.

    Before Lunch

    Students wash hands or use hand sanitizer.

    After Lunch

    Students wash hands or use hand sanitizer.

    Before and After every special(s)

    Students use hand sanitizer/wash hands. 

    Before and After class recess

    Students use hand sanitizer (if they stay inside) or wash their hands if they go outside. 

    Dismissal

    Before students exit the building they wash their hands or use hand sanitizer.

    Lunchroom

    • Students are 6ft. apart during lunches.
    • Students wash their hands or use hand sanitizer before and after they eat.
    • Students are assigned seats/tables that will remain the same throughout the year.
    • Students are not allowed to leave their assigned seat during lunch.

    Recess

    • Students can bring items in (at their own risk) that are small, gallon zip-lock size, NO electronics, students are responsible for their own items, label bag and items.
    • Indoor Recess
      • Students must keep their masks on.
      • Students use hand sanitizer before and after recess.
    • Outdoor Recess
      • Staff must take walkie talkie out to recess.
      • Kate Mirth made a “First Aid” bag for each building.
      • If students are 6ft apart, they do not have to wear their masks.
      • Students stay with their class during lunch recess.
      • Students are allowed to use playground equipment, as long as they are 6ft apart, if not they need to wear a mask.
      • Each class may have a set of playground equipment that only that class can use.

    Lockers/Cubbies

    • Each student is assigned their own locker/cubby.
    • Students are organized by alternating Blue/White groups.
    • Each locker/cubby is being disinfected every night using the electrostatic sprayer. 

    Hallways

    • Hallways and stairwells are being split in half - with directional arrows on the floor.  
    • Floor decals are being used throughout the building in designated areas - restrooms, clinic, lunch lines, teachers' desks, office areas, etc. 

    Bus Arrival/Dismissal

    Arrival

    • Students remain on the bus until the first bell rings.
    • Students are dismissed from their bus - two busses at a time.
    • Students use hand sanitizer as they enter the building.
    • Each building has designated doors for students to enter (i.e. 3rd grade door, 4th grade door, and 5th grade door).

    Dismissal

    • Students wash their hands before leaving the building. 
    • Each building has designated doors for students to exit (i.e. 3rd grade door, 4th grade door, and 5th grade door). 
    • Bus dismissal is being staggered to eliminate a large crowd of students.
    • Students report directly to their bus and their assigned seats.

    PPU Arrival/Dismissal

    Drop-off

    • PreK-K: Parents should unbuckle and assist the child out of the car. Parents are required to wear a mask.  
    • 1st - 5th: Parents should remain in the car and the child should exit the car through the curbside door.
    • Parents need to stay in the designated car line until their child has gotten out of the car - do not pass other cars.  
    • Students should stay in their cars until the first bell and will enter through the appropriate door.

    Pick-up

    • Parents place a card with the child's last name in the dashboard and students are called by walkie talkie to the parent pick-up area.
    • Cars are being loaded five to ten cars at a time.  
    • Parents need to stay in the designated car line until their child has gotten into the car - do not pass other cars.  
    • Each building shared specific parent pick-up/drop-off routes before the start of the school year.

    Walkers/Bikers

    • Students are not permitted in the building until the first bell.  
    • If a student walker/biker arrives at the building prior to the first bell, they need to maintain 6ft distance between other walkers.
    • Walkers/bikers should exit the building and leave campus immediately following dismissal. 

    Mask Breaks

    • Outdoors
    • 6’ apart
