    Transmission of COVID-19

According to the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, COVID-19 is primarily spread from person-to-person:

    • When people are in close contact with each other (within six feet).
    • Through respiratory droplets of an infected person.
    • By coming in contact with a surface that has the virus on it and touching mouth, nose or eyes.
    • COVID-19 can be spread even when an infected person is not showing symptoms of the virus.

For more information about the spread of COVID-19, visit the CDC’s website.
