My name is Mrs. Wagner, and I serve English Learners in grades 3-5. I became a teacher because I wanted to see students love school as much as I did by providing them with a safe environment and giving each child the tools that he or she needs to be successful. It can be scary to enter a new school when unsure about the language, people, or atmosphere, but I find great joy in helping students navigate this transition and creating a comfortable environment for them. It gives me great pleasure to see students find their voice as they become proficient in reading, writing, speaking and listening in English.
