Miss Alison Korpowski

Welcome to C6! My name is Miss Alison Korpowski. I am the long-term substitute for Mrs. White while she is on maternity leave.

I graduated from North Royalton High School and still live in the city. I received my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education with my Generalist Endorsement from Baldwin Wallace University in May 2020 and my Reading Endorsement from Ohio University in the summer of 2020. For the first half of the 2020-2021 school year, I was at Aurora City Schools as a virtual third-grade reading teacher. I then transitioned to my hometown school district of North Royalton, where I was an English as Second Language instructor for grades K-4. I spent a few weeks long-terming in kindergarten and second-grade classrooms as well. This school year, I taught at Ellsworth as a long-term substitute in a first-grade classroom from August to November 2021 and now I am excited to teach Mrs. White's first-graders while she is on maternity leave.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and our rescue dog, Lacey. I love shopping, trying new coffee shops, and traveling---my favorite places to visit have been London and New York City. This summer I spent a lot of time in my pool and volunteering at Royal Family Kids Camp.

I look forward to getting to know your child and your family. I believe building good relationships with my students and instilling a love of learning is a top priority.

Please don't hesitate to contact me. I am always happy to help.

Let's have a great rest of the school year!

Sincerely,

Miss Korpowski
