These smiles say it all! School is amazing for so many reasons - we LOVE seeing the JOY through relationship building and time having fun together!

Mixing some music about Ancient Greek culture, in 7th grade! Thank you, Hudson PTO, for your donations of such wonderful resources for our learners!

Civil engineers! Graphic designers! Computer programmers!  Our future is bright!  Loved seeing these “makers” at our first Maker Space Club meeting this week!

7th grade Science students are each designing a derby car using BlocksCad! These will be 3-D printed right here at HMS for race day, as students explore kinetic and potential energy...and coding!

In 8th grade Health & Wellness class, students explored the importance of stress relief through a variety of stations! They LOVED it!

It's Portrait of an Explorer Day - centered on the theme of Adaptive Problem Solver! So many great learning activities today! 7th grade held a Greek Olympics day, as part of their study of Ancient Greece in Social Studies!

So honored to share that our HMS Service Learning program will be recognized at the Ohio Middle Level Association (OMLA) state conference this fall! Thank you and congratulations to Ms. Hohenfeld, our Service Learning & Careers teacher, and to our incredible students for their service!!!

Congratulations on your retirement, Miss Joanne! You'll be missed - and we wish you all the very best! Thank you for making our kitchen a warm, welcoming place each day for our students and staff!

A Message from our HS Athletic Director about HS Football Games:

Our athletic program in the Hudson City School District carries a proud tradition of school spirit that is continually embodied by our many fans and community supporters.  This spirit is easily recognizable at any of our home athletic contests, including Friday night football games.  We are thankful that the festivities of a Friday night bring our community together, and allow an outlet to share our pride.

In an effort to provide an environment that is safe for all those in attendance, please note the following expectations, especially for students in elementary and middle school, who attend High School football games.

    • Middle school and elementary students attending games are encouraged to sit with their parents or families in the stands. Parents are responsible for the supervision of, or arranging supervision for, their children.

    • “The Hill” area is closed, near the endzone by the home stands and the visiting stands.

    • Roughhousing, throwing items, climbing on fencing and beams, and/or using profane language are strictly prohibited.

If you have any questions regarding policies or procedures moving forward, please contact administration.

Thank you for your continued support of our students and our community!
