Mrs. Le is a National Board Certified elementary music specialist. Having previously taught in Frisco, Texas, Mrs. Le currently serves as general music specialist in the Hudson City Schools in Hudson, Ohio, teaching with a combination of Orff, Kodaly, and World Music Drumming techniques. In addition to her regular teaching duties, Mrs. Le has conducted elementary choirs and is the music director for the “One Beat” Drum Ensemble. Her ensembles have performed regularly at school, district, and community events. Mrs. Le has also used the World Music Drumming curriculum as a means of leading school faculty team-building sessions, as well as working with at-risk students at the district Student Opportunity Center.

In addition to working with students, Mrs. Le has a passion for contributing as a professional colleague, serving as the K-5 Unified Arts Facilitator for the Hudson City Schools, Lead Mentor to new teachers, on a number of campus and district committees, and as a member of school PTA Boards. Mrs. Le has presented at music, bilingual education, and beginning teacher workshops and conferences. She is also a member of the national World Music Drumming staff, teaching week-long World Music Drumming workshops to music educators in various locations around the country every summer.  Mrs. Le was awarded the Texas PTA Honorary Lifetime Membership Award for outstanding service to youth, named the 2008 Teacher of the Year in Hudson, and received the Hudson PTA Child Advocate for the Arts Award in 2009 as well as the Hudson Distinguished Teacher Award in 2012. 

Mrs. Le's premise of her philosophy of teaching is that all students are able to learn and that there is much to learn from and celebrate about all people in the world. Her primary goal with her students, though, is not that they become permanent experts in the musical concepts that they learn. Rather, her primary goals are two-fold: 1) Students will be actively engaged in the musical experience so much that they learn, and more importantly, 2) Because of their positive experience and belief in their own musical competence, they develop an innate desire to also engage in musical experiences outside of the school music room.
