Since joining the Hudson Schools family and serving as an elementary principal, curriculum director, and assistant superintendent, I never fail to be impressed with the innovative and child-centered approach every single staff member brings to support our learners. It is inspiring to be around such dedicated students, staff, administrators, and community members who all have one goal-to actively support our students! We are dedicated to fostering a welcoming and inviting learning environment where all students can grow and develop into happy and productive citizens in our world. The collective efforts of our schools is to ensure our students have the skills and competencies identified in our Portrait of an Explorer-Engaged Collaborators, Ethical Citizens, Empathetic Contributors, Lifelong Learners, Adaptive Problem Solvers, and Critical Thinkers. To achieve this, we are unwavering in our commitment to fostering interactions that consistently nurture understanding and cultivate confidence. Our priority is to ensure that each learner feels cared for and recognized as an integral member of our community. The assistant superintendent's office has a variety of functions relating to curriculum, instruction, and technology, along with major district initiatives. This department is structured and supported by lead teachers that we call coordinators. The curriculum coordinators are among the best in regards to expertise, content knowledge, and leadership.
