My wife is a school counselor and ELA 9 and 10 coach at Ranger High-Tech Academy in North Ridgeville. We live with our three dogs, Bella who is 13, Zoey who is 5, and Kya who is 4 months old.

After attending elementary, junior, and high school in Newton Falls, I attended Hiram College where I majored in History and participated in Varsity Football. In 2005 I was accepted into early admission to graduate school at Kent State University. I graduated in 2006 from Kent State University with a Bachelors degree in History and a Masters degree in secondary education. 

I completed my student teaching at Cuyahoga Falls High School in 2006, teaching World History and Women in History. I took over teaching the social studies portion of the Service Learning program for the class of 2007 and began teaching AP Government in 2012.
