• Science Current Events Directions

    Throughout the year you will complete 8 science current events assignments. You will need to find an article written about a science topic. Articles may be in print OR electronic format. Articles must have been written and published within 3 months from the due date of your summary.                      

    You will read each article and summarize it. Your summary will include WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, & HOW this article relates to the assigned topic. You must include a link to the article or submit the article. Please remember that summarizing involves putting information into your own words.

    Current events should be submitted to Google Classroom. 

    1st current event topic is  Astronomy due BLOCK Sept. 6th or 7th

    2nd current event topic is Biology due Tue., Oct. 3th 

    3rd current event topic is Chemistry or Physics due BLOCK Nov. 8th OR 9th

    4th current event topic is Ecology due Mon., Dec. 4th

    5th current event topic is Geology due BLOCK Jan. 17th or 18th

    6th current event topic is Health/Medicine due Tue., Feb. 27th

    7th current event topic is Technology due Tue., Apr. 16th

    8th current event topic is SCIENCE CHOICE due BLOCK 5/1 or 5/7

                *CHOICE topic must be related to Science.
