Dr. Lowell is the Director of Orchestras at EWIS and has been with the Hudson City Schools since 2014. She is a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music (BM, viola performance) and Case Western Reserve University (BS, music education). Dr. Lowell holds a masters in educational technology and a doctorate in educational leadership. In 2019, she received the designation of Master Teacher from the state of Ohio. Dr. Lowell believes in nurturing the whole child and supporting the developmental needs of students through musical experiences.  Orchestra provides the opportunity to learn how to play violin, viola, cello, or double bass in an ensemble setting.
