Flyer: Summer Camp FairSensory Friendly Kent State University Men’s Basketball game, Kent State versus Hampton Pirates Dec. 21, 7pm at the MAC Center. This game will be a first of its kind at Kent State. Many children and families who suffer from ASD or have other sensory needs don’t get opportunities to go to events like this because the experience is too loud, too bright and quite frankly overwhelming. We have partnered with Kulture City (who has worked with many colleges, professional sports teams and more) and others to help make this event as true to a regular basketball game experience as possible, while also eliminating or reducing the amount stimulation that typically occur during these types of events. Flyer: Kent State Basketball FlyerOur basketball event will include the following:1.Reduced ticket prices for those that use the code SENSORY upon checkout of purchasing tickets. 2. A trained staff that can help assist those that need additional help or support. 3.While the entire event will be sensory friendly, we will have a special sensory friendly viewing area for those that may need a little more assistance (limited seating in this area). 4. A quiet room for those that need a few minutes. 5. Sensory bags for people to check-out that include fidget spinners, noise canceling headphones and more.Purchase discounted $7 tickets now!
