Degrees and Certifications:
Hello! My name is Lee Rann and thank you for visiting my website! I teach A.P. Government and Politics, Honors U.S. History and U.S. History this year and am the Assistant Varsity Girls Volleyball coach. The 23-24 school year will by my eighth year teaching at Hudson High School and I could not be more excited! I received my Masters of Education at John Carroll University in May, 2015, graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from THE Ohio State University in 2014, and graduated from Chagrin Falls High School in 2010.
As a student, I looked to my teachers for support and guidance through learning and their unending commitment to me, and compassion, inspired me to become a teacher. Their commitment was paired with high expectations that pushed me to become a better student and, most importantly, a better person. My passion for Social Studies derives from my desire to understand today in order to create a better tomorrow. To me, history is not simply a set of dates, people and places, but an avenue to critique and analyze human response to events and times that were so notable to record. I encourage all students to come to me with their thoughts, questions and concerns as we are all here at Hudson High School to develop and grow.
