Assistant Superintendent Curriculum & Instruction

I’m excited to join the Hudson City School District as the new Assistant Superintendent.  I’m passionate about creating student-centered learning environments that support academic excellence and personal growth.  I feel fortunate to be joining this team because our dedicated staff is unwaveringly committed to the growth and success of each student, working to provide the support, guidance, and opportunities needed for every child to thrive. 

I’m committed to working closely with educators, parents, and community members to advance our district’s mission of providing excellence in education for all students. I look forward to contributing to our shared vision of academic success and innovation.

The Assistant Superintendent's office has a variety of functions relating to curriculum, instruction, and technology, along with major district initiatives. This department is structured and supported by lead teachers that we call coordinators. The curriculum coordinators are among the best in regards to expertise, content knowledge, and leadership. Our team is dedicated to serving our students, teachers, staff, and the community.

Our department is primarily responsible for the following: 

• Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12 Curriculum and Instruction

• Instructional Materials

• Instructional Programs, Design, Support, and Intervention

• Supplemental Reading Instruction K-5 (Title One Reading) 

• Gifted Programming

• Technology 

• Professional Development

• English Language Learners

• Summer School and Summer Intervention

• Testing and Assessment. 

• Local, State, and Federal Grants

• District Major Initiatives

• Registration/Residency  

• Home Education (formally Home School 10.3.23)

• Liaison for Hudson Public Schools Endowment Fund (Scholarships and Grants)
