School Counseling and Social Work
School Counselors
The school counseling program is a part of the Hudson City School District’s Comprehensive Student Services Program. Our school counselors believe in the educational philosophy of the Hudson City Schools and are committed to developing the physical, mental, emotional, and social development of all children so that they may realize the full measure of their potential.

School Social Worker
The School Social Worker is a vital part of the educational team in the Hudson City School District, and as such, collaborates with students, families, teachers, administrators, counselors, psychologists, nurses, and other staff. She attempts to integrate information from these sources with the student's overall social, emotional, behavioral and adaptive functioning in school, at home, and within the community to develop a Whole Child Focus. The School Social Worker's unique training and perspective enables her to understand the interaction of the individual and his/her environment.
For more information or assistance, please contact the School Social Worker.
