Ep. 19 - Six District Compact & Hudson
The Six District Compact, serving Hudson and five other local school districts, offers numerous educational opportunities for students. From aeronautics and engineering to criminal justice, learn more about how students can start preparing for their future careers while still in high school. We'll talk with a student in Athletic Health Care and Fitness, as well as Mary Jane Stanchina, the Superintendent of the Six District.
Ep. 18 - Fulbright Scholars

This fall, Hudson City Schools was pleased to welcome four Fulbright Scholars from overseas. These four teachers spent weeks in the U.S., learning and collaborating. Hear what lessons they plan to take back to their respective classrooms and their thoughts about Hudson.

Dating back more than fifty years, New Dimensions is an interdisciplinary, team-taught humanities class at Hudson High School. Ep. 9 - Communicating with the Community
From videos and social media to print newsletters highlighting happenings in the district, the Hudson City School District utilizes many platforms to reach its stakeholders. For decades, the Hudson PTO has been raising money through its premier fundraiser, the annual Pancake Breakfast. Learn what it takes to organize and run a fundraiser of this magnitude by two people who know it best, Darcy Mihalek and Bruce Hubach.
Ep. 6 - Safety & Our Schools

The safety of the staff and students at Hudson City Schools is the number one priority. Ahead of the planned Safety Forum on February 28th, Superintendent Dana Addis talks with both School Resource Officers and HHS Unit Principal Michael Sedlak about what the district does on a daily basis to keep everyone safe. Ep. 3 - Enriching the Community: 25 Years of Service Learning

Each week, Hudson High School students are out in the community volunteering their time to help others. From assisting patients in hospice to working with special needs students, those in Service Learning demonstrate what it means to be a leader in the community. Hear from current students about why Hudson's Service Learning Program, founded in 1998, has served as a model for the Ohio Department of Education.
Ep. 2 - Portrait of an Explorer
Hudson City Schools is known for its academic rigor, but what about the qualities students need to succeed when they leave the hallways of high school? This year, the district set aside six days to focus on the characteristics that make up the "Portrait of an Explorer." Hear from teacher Marc Zustin and two students about why the initiative was needed, and what they hope to achieve in the months and years to come.
EP. 1 - Teamwork & Tenacity: The Secret to Hudson's Athletic Success
Community support is an integral part of our winning sports teams in Hudson City Schools. Football games under the Friday Night Lights attract thousands of people each week during the fall to hear the band, watch the cheerleaders, and cheer our team to victory. What was it like to be part of a team that went 13-0 for only the third time in school history? You'll hear from Quarterback Jagger Pallay, Coach Jeff Gough and Athletic Director Mike Chuppa, as they talk with Superintendent Dana Addis about building teamwork and tenacity.
