In music at Ellsworth Hill Elementary, we spend our time together building relationships with each other, and with the world around us, through musical experiences. These experiences include singing, playing instruments, dancing, composing, reading/writing music, learning about different styles of music, understanding the math of musical notation, the science of musical instruments, the language of musical communication, and the social studies that inspire the music of other cultures. Within these experiences, students also learn to look within themselves to learn to be the best they can be and develop habits that help them to become leaders.
