Greetings! Maureen Schreiner

I am very excited to work with you this year at Hudson High.  Please email me at schreinm@hudson.edu if you have any questions or concerns.

A little bit about myself... I grew up and went to school in North Royalton before leaving for The Ohio State University.  I studied English in my undergraduate work and stayed an additional year to acquire my Masters in English Education.   I earned my first teaching assignment in the same school I student-taught, Reynoldsburg High School.  I spent my first seven years as an English teacher at Reynoldsburg and my next three years as an assistant principal of Reynoldsburg’s art-focused academy, Encore.  During that time I returned to Ohio State to acquire my Masters in Education Policy and Leadership.

Being a former English teacher, I have to leave you with an inspirational quote by a great American author, Ralph Waldo Emerson, “Whatever you do, you need courage.  Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong.  There are always difficulties arising that tempt you to believe your critics are right.  To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires some of the same courage that a soldier needs.  Peace has its victories, but it takes brave men and women to win them.”
