Mrs. Kristin Stonestreet

Hello and welcome to my web page!
I am an Intervention Specialist at the high school.  This is my 16th year teaching, and my second in the Hudson School District.  I have degrees in Health Education, Special Education, and a Transition to Work Endorsement.  I earned my Master Teacher in 2015 and I am working on my National Board Certification.  It is my passion to work with high school students, parents, and neighboring agencies to help young adults meet their full personal and career goals.

I am married to a talented teacher and we live in Garrettsville with our three children, Madelyn (12), Aubrey (12), yes they are identical twins, and Ryan (8).  We love the outdoors, going to the movies, visiting a new state each summer, and spending time with our family and friends.

I am excited to be teaching Language Arts, Science, and Work Study this year.  I strive to incorporate multiple types of activities and instructional strategies in order to meet the learning styles of all my students.  I will emphasize the importance of making connections with skills learned in school with the skills needed for real life endeavors.
