Welcome to 3rd grade!  I am so glad that YOU are in our class! Hudson City Schools holds a special place in my heart since I attended the district from kindergarten through graduation and now have three children of my own that are in the district as well.

In 2005, I graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and K-12 Reading Endorsement.  From there, I taught 2nd and 3rd grade at Centerville City Schools and received my Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Dayton. After having my first child, my husband and I decided that we wanted to move home to Hudson. I taught 3rd grade at Hathaway Brown School for 4 years and then became the Director of Lower School Admissions at Gilmour Academy.  In 2016 I returned to my roots and became a Supplemental Reading teacher at McDowell. After two years in reading, I had the opportunity to go back into the 3rd-grade classroom full-time. I feel beyond lucky to be back in the classroom and have the opportunity to focus on helping children become lifelong learners!
