Hello there! My name is Kristen Case, and I am eager to teach your child this year! Preschool is a fun time to learn and grow. I hope to instill in your child a love of learning and excitement to try new things and meet new friends.
A little about me:
I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, more specifically, West Park. I attended Saint Joseph Academy for high school. I completed my Bachelor's in early childhood education and early childhood intervention at Ashland University in 2007. I went on to teach in an integrated preschool classroom in Surprise, Arizona with the Dysart Unified School District from 2007-2011. I then moved back to Ohio and taught in Avon, Ohio at the Avon Early Learning Center, also teaching in an integrated preschool classroom from 2011-2016. In May of 2015, I completed my Masters in Curriculum & Instruction-Educational Technology at Cleveland State University. I began teaching in Hudson in 2017 as an itinerant intervention specialist and in an integrated preschool classroom. This is now my 15th year of teaching and this year, I will be teaching in both an AM & PM integrated preschool classroom. I love to learn and grow as an educator.
I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my son and my boyfriend, biking, hiking, doing puzzles, reading, traveling when I have time, and playing with our three dogs, Gus Gus, Abby, and Champ.
I'm looking forward to learning more about each of my students and their families and I am so happy to be in Hudson! This journey in Hudson has been amazing and has continued to surpass my expectations. Hudson is a phenomenal district!
I look forward to learning more about you, your child, and your family throughout this preschool journey!
