Miss Case

Hello there!  My name is Kristen Case, and I am eager to teach your child this year!  Preschool is a fun time to learn and grow.  I hope to instill in your child a love of learning and excitement to try new things and meet new friends.

A little about me:

I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, more specifically, West Park.  I attended Saint Joseph Academy for high school.  I completed my Bachelor's in early childhood education and early childhood intervention at Ashland University in 2007.  I went on to teach in an integrated preschool classroom in Surprise, Arizona with the Dysart Unified School District from 2007-2011.  I then moved back to Ohio and taught in Avon, Ohio at the Avon Early Learning Center also teaching in an integrated preschool classroom from 2011-2016.  In May of 2015, I completed my Masters in Curriculum & Instruction-Educational Technology at Cleveland State University.  I began teaching in Hudson last year in the integrated preschool.  This is now my 11th year of teaching!  I love to learn and grow as an educator.

I enjoy bicycling, spending time with my family, hiking, doing puzzles, reading, traveling when I have time, and playing with my Chihuahua, Gus Gus.  This year, I want to continue to work on making healthy lifestyle choices to include working out more and eating healthier, spend time with my family, and travel when possible.

I'm looking forward to learning more about each of my students and their families and I am so happy to be in Hudson! The past year has been amazing and has continued to amaze me.  Hudson is a phenomenal district.
