Hello Families!

Welcome to C6! My name is Mrs. Katie White and I am beyond excited to begin our First Grade journey together! This year is my 7th year in Hudson and as a teacher! I have dreamed of becoming a teacher since I was in preschool. I am honored and thrilled to continue to make my dream a reality with all of you!

I graduated from Walsh University in 2016 with both a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Intervention and in 2018, I graduated from Walsh University with a Master's in Reading Literacy. First Grade is my favorite grade because I love to see the transformation the children make coming from Kindergarten to First! 

I believe in a student-centered classroom and a positive environment where all learners can achieve their highest potential. I value each student as an individual. 

 I live in McDonald, Ohio with my husband, Justin, and our 6-month-old son, Cooper. In my free time I love to go shopping, drink coffee, watch Christmas Hallmark movies, and spend time with my family and friends. I am looking forward to getting to know each one of my students and watching them grow! I am very excited to be working with all of my new students and their families this year.
