Mrs. Danielle Wenclewicz

Welcome to Mrs. Wenclewicz’s second grade class! Room B-18 provides a safe, exciting, and collaborative community for all of my students to blossom into strong and confident leaders! In my classroom, children’s ideas, successes, and mistakes are respected and celebrated. I believe in creating a positive learning environment that accompanies the strengths of all students. Students will engage both their minds and bodies as they learn through movements, chants, and songs.

It is hard to believe that I am beginning my sixth year of teaching! I have been teaching at Ellsworth Hill Elementary for four years. Previously, I was Ellsworth Hill's reading teacher for two years. In this position, I poured my love, joy, and knowledge of reading into the hearts of students from every classroom. Before teaching in Hudson, I taught two years as a second grade classroom teacher for Canton City Schools. As a Hudson graduate myself, it is a privilege to give back the world-class education I received!

As told above, I have a passion for teaching reading. In the spring of 2018, I received my Master's in Reading from the University of Cincinnati! This is a proud memory and I am thankful for the gift of education and the way it has influenced my best teaching practices. I received my Early Childhood Education degree from the University of Dayton (go Flyers!) where I met my wonderful husband of almost four years. Outside of school, I enjoy going on walks with my husband, cooking new recipes, reading, and spending quality time with my family and friends.

I am excited for all that is in store with the new adventure of a new year. Thank you for all that you do to support the learning of your child. I am looking forward to all this year has in store!
