Miss Koss

Welcome to East Woods!

Hello! My name is Chelsea Koss. I am beyond excited to be teaching at East Woods Intermediate! I am a 4th and 5th grade "looping" Intervention Specialist. This year I am working in 5th grade with Mrs. Hays (ELA) and Mrs. Walker (Math/Inquiry). My classroom is located on the first floor of the fourth grade wing. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Intervention Specialist: Moderate to Severe Needs (K-12) and a minor in Hearing, Speech and Language Sciences from Ohio University. Currently, I have completed my Masters in Secondary Transition at BGSU Spring 2022 with an additional certificate in Assistive Technology. This will be my 14th year teaching but my 7th year in this wonderful district. I also have 7 years of teaching experience in Dayton, Ohio in a K-5th Multiple Disabilities classroom and 6th-8th Multiple Disabilities classroom. I look forward to a new school year!
