Miss Alesci

Hello and welcome to 4th grade! My name is Miss Alesci and I am beyond excited to be joining East Woods Elementary! This will be my very first year having my own classroom and I couldn't be more eager for school to start! I will be team teaching with Mrs. Williams and Mrs. Strobelt, who are both absolutely wonderful. It’s going to be a fun year filled with lots of learning and new adventures, and I’m thrilled to see what the year has in store for us.

I graduated from Kent State University in December of 2014 where I majored in Early Childhood Education and earned my PreK-3rd grade teaching license, as well as my International Baccalaureate certificate. Shortly after, I attended Walsh University to extended my teaching license to include 4th and 5th grade.

During the summers, I stay busy as the coordinator for a summer day camp program through a neighboring city's Parks & Recreation Department. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor adventures, traveling, attending Indian's games (I am a huge Cleveland Indian's fan and even named my puppy after the manager!) and spending time with my friends, family, and my puppy, Tito. I adopted Tito when he was 6 months old after learning that he came from a pound in Tennessee and was adopted once but then returned! Luckily for me, I was able to adopt a smart, sweet, and cuddly dog. I still can't imagine why someone wouldn't want him!

It's going to be a fabulous year!
