• It is time to get the Hudson Middle School Science Olympiad program up and running for the 2020 season!  Here are a couple of critical dates:

    Parent/Student Introductory Meeting

    Monday, September 9th, at 6pm in the HMS Auditorium 

    Student Evaluation/Event Ranking Meeting (students need chromebook/ipad)

    Monday, September 16th, at 6pm in the HMS Commons

    Parent Event Volunteer Meeting (no students attend)

    Monday, September 23rd, at 6pm in the HMS Commons

    Practices will run every Monday from 6-8pm at HMS starting on Monday, September 30th through the end of the season (March or April 2020).  We will meet in the HMS Commons.


    What is the HMS Science Olympiad Team?

    • 23 different scientific and engineering events (much like the Olympics in sports)
    • Students are encouraged to find areas of interest in science
    • Attend weekly meetings on Monday nights (6:30-8pm)
    • High school students will regularly help and interact with the team Goals
    • Become more familiar with the way our world works
    • Appreciate aspects of each area of Science, Tech, Engineering, Math
    • Engage science without pressure to master the content
