Open House Video 2020-21

  • I have been teaching on and off since the fall of 1995. I have taught in New York, Illinois and Ohio. I have taught in an all-girls school, Catholic schools and public schools.

Since moving to Hudson, Ohio, in 2004, I have had 3 long-term substitute positions teaching chemistry for teachers on maternity leave. I was hired as a full-time teacher at Waterloo High School in Atwater, OH in 2017. I taught Physical Science, Environmental Science and Forensics there for 3 years. I am thrilled to be teaching Chemistry (my favorite thing to teach) in Hudson (the district where I live) this year.

I have a B.S in Geology and a B. A. in Chemistry from Binghamton University in New York. I have a M.A. in Geochemistry from Columbia University.

This year I am teaching Chemistry. Mr. Snow is teaching the same course I am. We both encourage our students to seek help from either of us.

My husband and I have been married since 1996. We have two children. Colin graduated from Hudson High School in 2020. He is now at the University of Cincinnati. Kathryn is a junior at HHS. We also have two dogs, Cocoa and Casey.
