    Ms. Harrison

My name is Dannielle Harrison and I am very excited to work with your child this year! I am from Mantua, Ohio and received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Kent State University and my teaching license from Notre Dame college.  I am certified to teach special education in grades K-12.  This will be my 15th year of teaching all of which have been done with Hudson City Schools.

I have a true passion for working with our youngest learners!!  Helping each child progress in all areas of their development—academic, social, emotional, language, and motor—is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily.  I will be co-teaching with your child's general education teacher's Mrs. Hood and Mrs. Clements, so all of their needs will be met in the general education classroom among their peers. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment.

Personally, I live with my two wonderful children, Miles who is 13 and Mila who is 12! .  I love to watch my kids' sports—baseball, softball and basketball!  I am an avid runner and I enjoy the challenge of training and competing in races ranging from a 5k to a marathon.  Fun Fact.... I have run in 3 Boston Marathons and this April, 2024, I will run in my fourth!
