Ms. Cynthia Crooks
Welcome! I’m Cynthia Crooks and I am an Intervention Specialist at Hudson High School. I teach functional academic, vocational and independent living skills. I help prepare students for living, working or volunteering in the community.
I graduated from Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology. I completed my Masters Degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. I began my teaching career as an Intervention Specialist with SouthWestern City Schools in Columbus, Ohio. I continued my teaching career as an Intervention Specialist with Washington Local Schools in Toledo, Ohio before moving to Hudson, Ohio. I have three daughters who work in the medical field and a son graduating from John Carroll University this year. I enjoy reading, traveling, hiking, biking, watching the Buckeyes, making jewelry and studying different species of birds. I love animals (cats and dogs) and have a huge cat at home named Tiny.
I have a license to teach Elementary (1-8), High School Science (7-12), and Special Education grades (K-12). I also have a Principal's license (K-12). I am highly qualified to teach Reading and Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
