• A welcome from the Nurse:

    Hello Hudson Parents and community! Welcome to the nurse clinic. I have been a nurse since 2005, after graduating from the University of Akron. I have a wide range of nursing experience from oncology to ICU. I began working with the pediatric population several years ago and found my passion. I am so excited to be working at the High School, caring for your students.  With my expereince I bring passion and ability to ensure the health and safety of Hudson High Schools students and staff.  My office is always open, so do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. Welcome to Hudson High School! We believe that healthy kids learn best!

    Clinic Hours:

    7:45 PM-3:15 PM

    Guidelines for the dismissal of student from school By School Nurse:

    • Temperature >100 degrees
    • Vomiting and/or diarrhea
    • undiagnosed rash
    • live lice
    • baterial infections not treated for at least 24 hours
    • drainage from the eyes not treated by physician
    • severe headaches
    • severe abdominal pain
    • severe sore throat
    • continuous cough or difficulty breathing
    • An injury, illness or condition that requires further management by parent/guardian or primary care provider

    When to contact the school Nurse:

    • Any chronic or acute illness
    • a new medication or change in medication dosage
    • a life threathning or new allergy
    • a serious injury requiring hosptialization
    • a diagnosed head concusion
    • an injury requing casting, sutures, a spint or mobility assistance
    • vision or healing difficulies
