Hello, my name is Eric Standley and I am currently a 6th-grade teacher on 6 Integrity in the Hudson City School District at Hudson Middle School. I am proud to begin my twenty-fifth year of teaching! I began the first years of my teaching career teaching 7th and 8th grade Language Arts with a few years at the old HMS. I also taught in Seminole, FL, for six years until my move back to Ohio in 2008. I sepnt ten years at McDowell taching third grade where I had been the technology content facilitator for 7 years and girls' high school cross country assistant coach for the same amount of time.
I am originally from East Liverpool, OH (once pottery capital of the world) where I graduated high school and went on to attend Walsh University in North Canton, OH completing my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education. I received my masters' degree from the University of Akron in 2015 in Instructional Technology. My passion for the use of technology in the classroom shows in all we do, and I hope to better prepare my students for 21st-century learning and responsibilities as digital citizens. I am currently married with an ten-year-old son and a seven-year-old daughter where we reside in Lakewood, OH.
