Hello!  My name is Laura Conn. I have taught 24 years in the Hudson Preschool program. My under graduate degree is in Early Education K - 8 with a special education minor which I received from the University of Akron. I returned to Akron University to add Preschool and Early Education of The Handicapped. I graduated  from Kent State,with a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education (K-3) with a reading endorsement in 2009. I continue to go to in-services, book studies and any other opportunities to learn new information and strategies to help develop the children.  Before teaching I spent 18 years in retail, working for both Lerners and The Limited.
I have lived in Hudson since 1989. I have one daughter, Amanda, who graduated from OSU and has her Phd. from Wright State in forensic psychology.  Amanda and her husband, Evan live outside of Columbus, in Plain City.  No grand babies yet!! I enjoy working out, beach vacations and music. I love going to concerts.

But my first  love  is working with preschoolers. They are like little sponges just soaking up information. I also enjoy working with parents to guide them and help them move their child forward. We all need to work together to help your child.
