I am so thrilled be an Explorer, so excited to be part of the administrative team at Hudson High School, and so honored to get to work with such amazing students, staff, parents, and community on a daily basis.

I grew up in Northeast Ohio attending Brush High School, where I met my wife, and then traveled south to Athens, Ohio where I earned my undergraduate degree in English from Ohio University.  Go Bobcats!  Following my time at OU I earned a Masters in Education from John Carroll University and began teaching English at Mayfield High School in the fall of 2009.  There I learned and grew for six years as an educator and I completed a Masters of Educational Administration from Ursuline College.  This led me to take on the assistant principal position at Memorial Middle School in Mentor in 2015, and in 2017 I found myself beginning a new chapter as Unit Principal in Hudson.

When I’m not thinking about school I’m busy with my wife and two amazing kids, Harrison and Madelyn, who are respectively three years old and one year old, so they keep me on my toes at all times of day!  I’m an avid reader, a huge foodie/cook, and a sports nut (especially the Cleveland variety).  I love to learn and work in a place where growth is the focus, and that is what keeps me coming back.  A very wise man once told me, “If it works, Great! And if it doesn’t work, that’s great too!”  and that is a philosophy keeps me hungry to learn from all the amazing students and staff I get to see everyday.
