ReGreen Hudson Schools

What is ReGreen Hudson Schools?

ReGreen Hudson Schools (ReGreen) is an organization dedicated to improving the grounds of the Hudson City School District.  We do so by designing, proposing, and executing various landscaping projects.  These projects are intended to:

  • Beautify our campuses
  • Make our grounds more environmentally and ecologically sustainable
  • Provide more and better educational opportunities for Hudson students

Our vision is for the grounds of Hudson City Schools to become a model for other public schools to emulate.  

Many of the projects are 100% funded by ReGreen Hudson Schools. On other projects, we collaborate with other organizations and individuals.  Our approach relies heavily on philanthropy and volunteerism.

We have established the ReGreen Project Fund with the District’s Treasurer.  It is used to fund upcoming ReGreen projects.

We have also established the ReGreen for Hudson Schools Endowment Fund with Hudson City Schools Foundation to provide for ongoing maintenance of existing and future ReGreen projects.
